More Problems

Somewhere between the MN USCIS and the National Visa Center in DC, they have managed to classify the visa as an IR4 and not an IR3 (which you get if you visit your child - oh we visited him...for over 15 months). That means that if they don't fix it, we will have to go through the re-adoption process in the States which means that it will cost us more money. Now we have to mess with that and it will most likely cause delays. We are already delayed because they have not contacted us about scheduling a visa appointment. So...on we go...

God manages to work out His timing in very creative ways. We trust in His timing.

Yikes...one more thing to add to the list. Hope it works out soon. Sheesh.

You are amazing, you know that! I would be going nuts, actually would have gone nuts a long time ago! Such a blessing that you could be with him, and not in the US waiting for him. Praying for you!

There has been a lot of "one more things" unfortunately. Hopefully we are done (how many times have we said/thought that?)!

I don't think that we are amazing. We are starting to get pretty upset, but we have to realize (and we often don't quite realize it right away) that God has a reason for His timing. I wish I could do better than I am doing.

We have asked the question many times about going over the deep end, going nuts, being at the breaking point...what does it look like to be near or at or past that point? Sometimes I think we are there.

Thank you for your prayers and it IS A BLESSING to be here with him. We try not to ask the question of whether or not it has taken longer because we are here...it doesn't matter. We are where God wants us.

Hey Ken and Tina, This happened to Tom and Chris Reber too - they caught it once Stevenson was here. Know that you are not alone. Nothing to say to make any of this better, I know. I agree with you - seems like if you do something over and over, you'd know the system huh???!!

Mary, that doesn't make sense to me. We didn't know that happened to Chris and Tom. How did Steveson get out of Haiti and into the US with TB (i.e., get his visa to the US)?
