- April 29, 2008 - Put House up for Sale

- May 17, 2008 - Out of IBESR and in Parquet

- July 1, 2008 - Pick up Lou From Orphanage

- May 28, 2009 - Began Orphan First Legwork - Orphanage Drirector should have started this in October 2007 when USCIS inquired of her
- June 9, 2009 - Birth Parent Interview with USCIS (as a result of the Orphan First Program this is being done early)
- June 15, 2009 - US Embassy DNA letter to orphanage director
- July 29, 2009 - DNA Results Emailed to USCIS
- August 31, 2009 - MOI Paperwork signed
- September 9, 2009 - Out of MOI, paperwork delivered to Haitian Immigration for Passport
- September 19, 2009 - I600 Approved by Minnesota USCIS office
- September 28, 2009 - Approved I600 "cabled" to US Embassy, Port-au-Prince by the National Visa Center (New York?)
- October 2, 2009 - Passport Finished
- October 6, 2009 - Physical Exam and Tuberculosis Skin Test
- October 8, 2009 - Test Result of TB Skin test: Positive - Chest Xray taken
- October 12, 2009 - Chest Xray Results of TB: Negative (US Embassy closed for Columbus Day - dropping off paperwork tomorrow)
- October 13, 2009 - Dropped off Paperwork for Visa
- October 23, 2009 - Received Email About Visa Appointment for Monday the 26th
- October 26, 2009 - Visa Appointment (Paid for the Visa)
- October 27, 2009 - Picked up Visa
- November 4, 2009 - Leave Haiti for the US

How about if you just start making elaborate plans on vacationing in the United States. You could go first with Kayla and Carter and then you could come back, and Tina could go and meet Kayla and Carter.
I'm assuming Lou cannot leave the country yet.
Just making all your own plans is sure to "mess things up" like Lou's adoption becoming final!

How old was Tina in this photo? And how old is Kayla now?

Dave, she was 9 years old in that picture and Kayla is now 11. I think that Kayla is about Tina's height in that picture - about two years short and about the same height as Carter who is two years younger. To think that 5 years after that picture was taken, Tina met her husband...
